NOTE

Porous marble and stone surfaces will absorb stains from the acid in liquids such as wine, vinegar and tea. These effects will be permanent unless the liquid is removed immediately. Surfaces should be protected with placemats or coasters. Liquids spilled from ill pouring pots (example: Teapots) will cause stains too, as the heat forces the liquid into the porous surface. To prevent this, please ensure surfaces are cleaned immediately or protected.
